This privacy policy describes how Online Thought ApS ("we", "us", "RentQuick") collects and processes your personal data when you use the website rentquick.online. We process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act.

2. Data we collect
- Contact details: your email address when you join the waiting list, create an account, or contact us.
- Account data: login status and access times (login is passwordless, via a one-time link sent to your email).
- Search preferences: the search criteria and saved searches you create.
- Payment data: for a paid subscription, payment is handled by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and usage data via necessary cookies.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Providing the service (account creation, showing listings, saved searches) — legal basis: performance of a contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b).
- Waiting list and marketing (launch notice, news) — legal basis: your consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a). You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Payment and subscription — legal basis: performance of a contract and legal obligation (bookkeeping), GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (c).
- Operation, security and improvement of the service — legal basis: our legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).
4. Recipients and processors
We only share your data with trusted suppliers who process data on our behalf (processors), including:
- Hosting and infrastructure provider.
- Email delivery provider.
- Payment provider (when payments are enabled) to handle subscription payments.
We never sell your personal data to third parties. If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, it is done on a valid transfer basis (e.g. the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses).
5. Retention
We retain your data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Waiting-list data is deleted when no longer relevant or upon your request. Account data is kept while your account is active. Accounting records are kept for 5 years as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- The right of access to the data we process about you.
- The right to rectification of inaccurate data.
- The right to erasure ("right to be forgotten").
- The right to restriction of processing.
- The right to object to processing.
- The right to data portability.
- The right to withdraw consent at any time.
